Will your flowers change color? Yes! Almost always, when flowers are preserved by any method the colors will vary some in comparison to a fresh bouquet. Here at Burch Blossoms we love this process of transformation, and we hope to guide you in the right direction for your special flowers.
Do you offer color correction? At this time we do not offer color correction. Why, you may ask. Our style leans into the natural color schemes that are brought out with flower pressing. If this is not for you, and you want an exact color copy, we highly recommend going to another artist that offers color correction.
What can I expect? With traditional flower pressing, color changing truly varies flower by flower, and can depend on a large variety of factors. What we can guarantee is that your flowers will have no browning/molding due to incorrect preservation techniques. Our years of expertise have guided us to use several methods to remove moisture and prevent disasters like this.
We want to be 100% transparent with the color changing process that naturally occurs during floral preservation. So we’ve created a list of common wedding florals that tend to change in color slightly or drastically when pressed. If you have flowers that are not on this form and you have concerns, please reach out! We are always happy to answer your questions.

This depends on the kind of display you prefer.
Looking for something that is just right? Our 16x20 frame fits a bit of everything, highlighting your favorite parts of your bouquet.
Want the ultimate showstopper? Our 18×24 frame fits all flower types, giving you a more grand display.
Need something budget-friendly? Our 11x14 frame features a few of your focal point blooms, just enough without breaking the bank.

Looking for a gift for mom, a friend, or just something extra, the 8×10 is also the perfect option.

The sooner the better! A minimum notice of 4 weeks prior to your event date is greatly appreciated, as I can make sure I have plenty of space in my flower presses for your bouquet.
With that being said, I understand that some people may find me last minute, and I will do my best to make this work.

The process in it’s entirety takes around 24 weeks. This depends on the frame size you choose and your flowers. Pressing your flowers start to finish takes up 4-6 of those weeks. I do work through orders one by one in order of drop-off date. Follow me on Instagram to follow along our updates!

Yes! When shipping, I will send you an informational form with how to pack and ship your flowers so they arrive safely. When packing, please DO NOT wrap plastic on your flowers, as this suffocates them.
The flowers must be sent out the next business day via express shipping to preserve their freshness. UPS and FedEx are preferred.
If shipping, please DON’T request for your package to be signed. This may delay your bouquet drop off, risking the integrity of your flowers!

Yes! However, the piece would look different compared to the pressed flower pieces. Dried flowers typically cannot be pressed as fresh flowers can.
Instead, they can be arranged into a shadow box. This is a beautiful option for displaying your flowers. If interested in this, fill out our contact form!

Yes, over time the color of flowers fade. We believe this is a part of the charm.
This can take several years depending on the type of preservation. Displaying your floral keepsake in direct sunlight or somewhere hot/damp can increase the color fading. As your flowers age, lighter colors tend to turn beige or can yellow and darker colors will deepen in color.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Every flower presses differently, depending on many factors. Some may get darker, lighter, turn slightly tan, beige, or yellow in the process. This is completely normal for pressing flowers. We strive to provide high quality services by honing in on our preservation skills to prevent molding, wrinkling, and browning of florals due to improper pressing techniques.
Remember, the way your flowers arrive may impact the preservation process as we need your flowers as fresh as possible! Wilted, wet, or damaged flowers may not be as perfect appearing when pressed as this damage can be difficult to reverse or work around. With that being said, we always do our best to revive florals upon arrival!

I will use the entire bouquet in most instances! When the flowers arrive, I will carefully select the best flowers to press. Having several to choose from helps in ensuring that the final product will be of the best quality. Some flowers do not make it in the pressing process, thus I need more than a few to use. If sending extra flowers, please specify which florals you would like included in your piece. If not notified, we will utilize flowers in the best condition to accent your keepsake.
Extras are sent back if requested in your booking form.
